Senior Tax Analyst Department: Corporate Finance Location: Service Center, 4204, boul.

If so, look no further, we have the job for you THE ROLE Reporting to the Manager, Canadian and International Tax, within the Corporate Finance team, the Senior Analyst will be a key person for all tax compliance matters from a Canadian perspective, and will also collaborate on special projects.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Here are just a few ways that you’ll help make journeys better: Participate in special projects: acquisition, reorganization; Prepare tax returns for Canadian companies; Prepare all other forms and calculations required for a group with an international dimension, like T1134 forms, tax surplus calculations, CbCr; Compile and analyze information required for federal and provincial income tax compliance; Inform the various stakeholders of changes in applicable rules; Advise and support managers on the tax components of any issue related to operations; Conduct tax research on various topics related to Canadian and international income tax; Contribute to the identification and reduction of tax risks; Participate in the establishment of quarterly and annual provisions, required accounting entries and continuity schedules; Participate in due diligence projects related to business acquisitions; Contribute to the coordination of audits of tax authorities; Collaborate in any other related project.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED We want you to join our team Here’s what we’re looking for: Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA, CA or CPA, CGA) or other relevant education; Completion of the In-Depth Tax Course I and II or a Master’s degree in taxation or in the process of completing them; Experience: Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience; Knowledge and skills: Experience in international transactions and business acquisitions would be an asset; Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards related to taxes; Excellent knowledge of office tools such as Excel, Word and Power Point; Excellent knowledge of tax filing software such as Corporate Taxprep and Taxprep Forms; Demonstrate resourcefulness, autonomy, attention to detail, initiative, commitment and analytical skills; Ability to manage priorities while respecting deadlines; Ability to work in a team and to communicate; Language skills: Bilingual (French and English); Good communication skills, both oral and written.
